Both Cho and Harry have lost loved ones at very young ages, and struggled with their grief.Sure, Ginny lost her older brother Fred at the Battle of Hogwarts, but she was a bit older. Rowling did once admit in an interview that if he hadn’t become friends with future Death Eaters while at Hogwarts and overcame his prejudice of muggleborns, there is a good chance that Lily Evans could have developed romantic feelings for her childhood best friend. If Ginny dated Luna, I imagine the latter’s calming presence would keep her fiery temper at bay while she would urge her girlfriend to be a bit more bold and outspoken in public.Even though I awww’d over Tonks and Remus’s relationship in the books, I do think she would have been a good match for Bill if he hadn’t fallen in love with Fleur Delacour. With any book series, television show or film, there are always going to be some fans that are disappointed in the canon relationships, and J. Ginny was just Ron’s annoying kid sister, and then all of a sudden she was this beautiful, snarky, and totally awesome Quidditch player. If you, like me, still feel that Harry would have been better off falling in love and marrying anyone but Ginny or loathe the romance between Ron and Ginny, then you’ll love the following list of I have never liked the Harry Potter/Ginny Weasley pairing because it seemed so random.

There is no mention of what happened to Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas after the Battle of Hogwarts, but it is known that they both survived the final confrontation with Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Rowling once hinted that Dean was a big fan of and it would be so cute if he introduced his boyfriend to all of the famous pop culture muggle films.
I’d like to imagine that Seamus and Dean, who were already best friends before the war, realized that they had feelings for one another and started to date. I’m sure Seamus, who was a bit of a pyro in the films, would get a big kick out of the CGI explosions in I won’t lie, I was a bit disappointed that J. Rowling never had Cho Chang and Harry Potter wind up together at the end of the series.
Just imagine how cool it would be if Ginny and Neville both used Gryffindor’s sword to kill Nagini during the final battle.
Maybe Ginny could have screamed something inspiration about Dumbledore’s Army to distract Lord Voldemort and the snake while Neville obtained the sword. , Molly Weasley hinted that Sirius was still devastated by the death of his BFF and had not been able to properly grieve while stuck in Azkaban.
